A presidential decree has been adopted on the effective organization of the activities of the Inspection at the Ministry of Geology

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to improve the system of public administration and control in the field of subsoil use, industrial, radiation and nuclear safety, as well as the use of atomic energy": a Presidential Decree was adopted "On measures for the effective organization of the activities of the Inspection for Control in the field of mining and Geology under the Ministry of Mining Industry and geology", the main activities of the Inspection were also approved, the organizational structure and the "Roadmap" for establishing the activities of the Inspection for Control in the field.

According to the resolution, the Inspection for Control in the field of Mining and Geology is engaged in the implementation of state control over compliance with industrial safety requirements in the mining, metallurgical, geological and subsurface use spheres, including when performing geological exploration in the oil and gas sector, mining (mining) and processing of hydrocarbons, blasting, as well as the use of groundwater.

Inspection officials have the right to unhindered access to control facilities, can suspend work that violates the requirements of rational use of mineral resources and industrial safety, and make decisions on bringing officials and organizations to administrative responsibility for violations of legislation in the field of technical regulation.
