Servicemen from Uzbekistan became the best at international competitions in South Korea

Servicemen of Uzbekistan became the winners of international competitions held in South Korea, the Ministry of Defense press service reports.

About 500 people took part in the prestigious competitions as part of 12 teams from 7 countries, including the United States, Azerbaijan, Australia and Poland. Servicemen from another 8 states, including Turkey, Mexico, the Philippines and Malaysia, observed the progress of the competitions.

As part of the competition stage, the participants first completed tasks involving combat operations in mountainous, wooded and urban terrain. Then they competed in a comprehensive stage that provided for simultaneous combat operations in all three types of terrain.

The servicemen of the Ministry of Defense demonstrated record results in various areas. In particular, in mountainous terrain, the servicemen completely destroyed the simulated enemy occupying defensive positions, without suffering losses, and captured 7 flags. To date, no team had managed to achieve such a result.

During the task of conducting combat operations in urban terrain, the servicemen also attacked the defending simulated enemy, captured all the objects and 7 flags. This success also became the first in the history of the competitions.

In addition, as part of the task of holding defensive positions in urban terrain, the Uzbekistan team, without losing a single fighter, captured 7 objects and all the flags, updating the competition record.

As a result, Uzbekistan, scoring 316 points, took first place of honor. Second place with 212 points went to the team of Cambodia, and third place with 192 points was taken by the team of the Republic of Korea.
