The Ministry of Defense team of Uzbekistan took second place in prestigious competitions held in the United Kingdom.
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. The Ministry of Defense team of Uzbekistan secured second place at the prestigious international military competition "Cambrian Patrol," which took place in the United Kingdom, reports Podrobno.uz correspondent.
These competitions, held for 60 years, gather military reconnaissance units from around the world to test their combat skills and endurance in real combat conditions.
According to "Dunyo," this year's competition took place from October 4 to 7 in Wales. It featured 100 teams from 30 countries, including the UK, USA, France, India, Germany, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Italy, and many others.
Each team navigated a route of over 70 kilometers, overcoming challenging natural and tactical obstacles. Every 8-10 kilometers, participants performed combat tasks under conditions of chemical and biological threats, including assault operations and navigation in difficult terrain.
In their subgroup, which included 13 teams, Uzbekistan's military confidently took first place. Throughout all stages, they successfully navigated contaminated areas, showcased their tactical operation skills, and completed the route among the leaders.
As a result of the competition, the Uzbekistan team earned silver medals.
It is noted that British military officials highly appreciated the training level of Uzbek servicemen, emphasizing their professionalism and excellent skills in executing combat tasks.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time our military has participated in this competition. In previous years, they have also secured prize-winning positions.
