Uzbekistan to strengthen combat capability and spiritual potential of Armed Forces
In Uzbekistan, attention will be increased to increasing the combat capability and spiritual potential of the Armed Forces in conditions when various threats and dangers are growing in the world. The head of state announced this at a meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
It was emphasized that today, in the conditions of an extremely unstable and alarming situation in the world, the protection and preservation of the independence and sovereignty of the country, as well as the peaceful and free life of the people as the most valuable wealth, remains the most important task.
"We must never forget: the security of our country, the defense of the Motherland is a sacred duty not only of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, but also of all people for whom Uzbekistan is their homeland, regardless of their nationality, language and religion.
For this, the feeling of a single Motherland, a single multinational close-knit family must be deeply rooted in our hearts," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
