Large-scale military exercises of CIS and SCO countries to be held in Uzbekistan
Representatives of the competent authorities of nine Commonwealth states – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – took part in the discussion. They will probably also participate in the main maneuvers. The parties are agreeing on plans for their implementation.
It was noted that the threat of regional terrorism is gaining momentum. These events are being held precisely to work out possible scenarios for the emergence of terrorist cells.
Recall that Uzbekistan took part in anti-terrorist exercises together with other Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan.
