The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev met with the General Director of the National Center for Emergency Situations in the field of Pakistan`s cybersecurity Heider Abbas, the Dunyo correspondent reports.
The meeting discussed the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of cybersecurity, the exchange of experience, the introduction of advanced technologies to protect digital infrastructure, as well as increasing personnel potential through joint research projects.
The Pakistani side of BKLA is informed of the reforms implemented in our country as part of the Strategy “Digital Uzbekistan-2030”, the capabilities of the electronic government system and the activities of IT parks.
The Emergency Center for Emergency Situations in the field of Pakistan`s cybersecurity regularly organizes seminars, trainings and conferences for civil servants and employees of educational institutions. The implemented four -stage training program is aimed at improving technical skills and digital literacy, starting with strategic decisions.
The prospects for cooperation in the areas of response to cyberincants and the exchange of information about threats have been determined. Among them are the conduct of joint trainings and simulations, the organization of short -term training courses for civil servants and students, the identification of threats based on artificial intelligence, conducting research in the field of digital examination and safe communication systems, coordination of positions on joint initiatives in international rent and regional platforms, protecting critical infrastructure systems through public -private partnerships.
An agreement was reached on a sequential continuation of interaction between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the field of digital security, organizing mutual visits to determine priorities and specific practical areas, as well as on regular online meetings and negotiations between the competent authorities of the two countries.
