The heads of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the intelligence services of Uzbekistan and Turkey held the first meeting in a new format

The first meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the intelligence services of Uzbekistan and Turkey was held in Tashkent yesterday, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports.The issues discussed in the 3+3 format included regional and global challenges, ways to effectively combat them and many other topics. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue and expand cooperation in this format.
Recall that yesterday a representative delegation from the Republic of Turkey arrived in Uzbekistan. The meetings were held in the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service.
The heads of the foreign policy departments of Uzbekistan and Turkey, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Hakan Fidan, also met separately. The participants in the talks discussed practical aspects of further enriching bilateral relations.
"Economic cooperation, growth of trade turnover, public diplomacy, academic exchanges, international issues and many other topics were on the agenda. The foreign policy departments of Uzbekistan and Turkey will be the driving forces in implementing a solid package of agreements between our countries," the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry noted on his Telegram channel.
