Today, Ambassador Henick donated Radiation Portal Monitors on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy to the Customs Committee under Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The new equipment will strengthen Customs’ ability to detect and prevent radiation materials smuggling, keeping both Uzbekistan and the United States more secure.
