Turnstiles for ticket checking installed at the capital`s Central Railway Station
According to the press service of Uztemiryulyulovchi, these turnstiles scan the QR code on electronic tickets and allow passengers to enter the platform if the ticket is valid.
It is noted that passengers with counterfeit or returned tickets will not be allowed on the train.
By the end of the year, tickets issued at ticket offices are also planned to be transferred to an electronic version.
Recall that more than 500 thousand users of the online platform for purchasing train tickets were blocked in the system for violations. Some of them were held administratively liable. Representatives of Uztemiryulyulovchi told a Podrobno.uz correspondent that in this way the company is fighting fraudsters and resellers.
