Uzbekistan delegation visits POZHSNAB and gets acquainted with fire and rescue equipment
Oleg Deryabin, Director of POZHSNAB LLC, emphasized that the prospects for joint cooperation are very promising. “The Uzbek market is very interesting and distinctive. The country produces vehicles. It is a great honor for us to be present in this market. We have worked there with varying degrees of efficiency. There was a very large program for airfield vehicles together with Minsk Automobile Plant. We would very much like our vehicles to be tested by rescuers in Uzbekistan. They are professionals who go out every day to perform heroic work. It is very important for us to share the experience we have gained with our colleagues and for them to test the quality of our vehicles in real operational conditions,” he stressed.
“Uzbekistan has known our equipment for a long time. But the latest stage in the development of MAZ supplies to Uzbekistan was the opening of our subsidiary in Tashkent in 2016. The enterprise is operating successfully, providing maintenance services and supplying equipment. As a development prospect, we see a transition from supplies to the organization of an assembly enterprise,” said Sergey Papkovich, Head of the Export Foreign Economic Relations Department of Minsk Automobile Plant.
In his opinion, POZHSNAB LLC and MAZ complement each other. “We have universal chassis capable of performing a wide range of tasks, while they have specific and very original equipment that also makes it possible to perform unique tasks. Therefore, we always work closely together with POZHSNAB LLC and operate in many markets, including Uzbekistan,” he concluded.
Supplies to the Republic of Uzbekistan have been carried out since 2018. One of the company’s major customers is the Kandym Gas Processing Complex in Bukhara Region. Fire trucks manufactured by POZHSNAB LLC also ensure the safety of the international airports of Samarkand and Namangan.
POZHSNAB is interested in further developing long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbek partners. The company is ready to expand supplies of equipment for units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, departmental and facility-based fire and rescue services, airports and industrial enterprises.
POZHSNAB LLC is a manufacturer of fire and emergency rescue equipment: fire tankers, special fire vehicles, turntable ladders, articulated lifts and foam lifts. The company began its operations in 2002.
